The Bucky Bullseye has been won at Buckingham Bingo Bootle. Lee Fraser, a 25-year-old man from Bootle, scooped the staggering sum of £25,000. He shared the £50,000 jackpot with a 38-year-old lady from Crosby. As if all that wasn't enough, more than 400 other players were given £50 each to mark the momentous occasion.

In Suffolk, a bingo caller has been advised to stop using phrases such as 'legs 11' and 'two fat ladies 88' because players might take offence. John Sayers, who also works as a councillor, was told Sudbury town council could be sued for his politically incorrect language.
