According to the report from Salisbury District Hospital, motivation levels in hospital patients increase the more bingo is enjoyed on the ward. What's more, hospital stays went down by roughly 25 per cent among those who regularly dibbed and dabbed scorecards during recovery.



Bootle regular scoops Bucky Bullseye prize

The 68-year-old bingo player managed to net a brilliant £12,500 in addition to winning £50 for each member present in the club when she won. Such a big prize is very welcome, not to mention useful, in the run-up to Christmas!

Car manufacturer turns to bingo game

The firm is following the success of a bowling club earlier this year with a bingo night to be held at a Manchester church. The top prize is a Vauxhall Corsa worth more than £10,000!



Buckingham clubs continue to raise Breakthrough funds
Posted on November 1st 2010Buckingham Bingo club bosses have shown their compassionate side by taking part in an amazing charity bike ride aimed at making money for Breakthrough Breast Cancer. General managers from Huyton, Bootle, Preston and Middleton got on their bikes to raise cash, travelling up Blackpool promenade to Cleveleys and back. Table top collections were made at all four clubs, where loyal bingo players kindly donated to the brilliant breast cancer charity.

Bingo club saved from closure
Posted on October 7th 2010A popular bingo club in Birmingham will not be shutting down after all. Initial plans to develop a new Tesco supermarket in Walsall meant the Brownhills Senior Citizens' Club would have to close. However, Tesco bosses have decided against upsetting the local community after a petition was handed in to the local council signed by 350 people.



Buckingham hosts Ladies Night for Breakthrough Breast Cancer

Buckingham members are cordially invited to see the world-famous Dreamboys live and naked on stage at Buckingham Bingo's Walkden club this October. All proceeds raised from this wild and wonderful Ladies Night will go to support the excellent work of Breakthrough Breast Cancer.



Buckingham goes back to school with bingo promotion
Posted on September 1st 2010Three Buckingham Bingo clubs in Manchester joined forces this week and gave away £3,000 in shopping vouchers. Venues in Trafford, Middleton and Walkden hosted special games of sit-down bingo as part of the special back to school promotion. Staff on shift also got involved in the festivities by dressing up as schoolchildren.
