Bingo fans delighted club will not close

Walsall bingo club saved
We know that Buckingham Bingo fans would be distraught if their local branch were to shut down. So with this in mind, we share the jubilation of members at a bingo club in Walsall which has been saved from the axe.
The development of a new Tesco in the town initially meant the end of Brownhills Senior Citizens' Club, where more than 40 members meet to play bingo three times a week.
However, plans for the site have been changed thanks in part to a petition handed in to the local council in which close to 350 people signed opposing the decision.
Tesco corporate affairs manager Tony Fletcher confirmed the news to the Birmingham Mail, saying: "The club will be retaining what they've got. The new plans involve purely moving other things around so that the building isn't required."
Nothing can stop bingo fans
It seems there is nothing that can stop bingo fans when the threat of losing their favourite game arises. One bingo enthusiast still manages to play despite becoming blind after she suffered a stroke. This crafty dabber developed a unique strategy of memorising the position of the numbers on the bingo card, meaning she didn't even need her vision!
Similarly, players who cannot always make it to a Buckingham site can easily play online at Bucky Bingo at any time of the day or night.
