A lucky bingo player has just won the coveted Bucky Bullseye.

Lee Fraser (pictured) walked away from Buckingham Bingo Bootle with a spring in his step after scooping �25,000 on Thursday, January 7th 2009.

The 25-year-old, who lives in Bootle, shared the Bucky Bullseye jackpot with a 38-year-old lady from nearby Crosby.

And the celebrations were by no means limited to those with winning tickets.

Whenever the Bucky Bullseye is claimed, every single player in the club receives a special prize to mark the occasion.

On this particular night, more than 400 Buckingham Bingo Liverpool members were given a generous �50 cash prize.

It was a fitting reward for those hardy players who braved the snow and sub-zero temperatures to take part in a few lines of bingo.

Mandy Crowther, general manager of Buckingham Bingo Bootle, said: "It may be the coldest night of the year so far but that's certainly warmed our customers up."

Of course, the bad weather was nothing more than a distant memory once players passed through the doors.
