Buckingham Bingo Bradford has been declared Yorkshire's luckiest bingo club after recording an astonishing trio of wins in as many days.

It all started on Wednesday, December 9th 2009 when a regular player called on just 44 numbers in the National Bingo Game.

The woman, who visits Buckingham Bingo Bradford three or four times a week, was rewarded with the in-house prize of �154.56.

But she picked up a further �4,689.24 on the Zone prize and �20,000 on the National itself � making a jaw-dropping total of almost �25,000.

The magic moment

Robert Cahill, Buckingham Bingo Bradford club manager, has recalled the magic moment when the prizes were confirmed.

"We announced she won the Zone prize first and the club cheered for her," he said. "We then told her that she won the National as well and the club erupted in cheers and applause for her.

"It was a great atmosphere and this is the best early Christmas present you could ask for."

As if that wasn't enough, another bingo club regular triumphed in the same competition a day later.

The lady, who attends two to three times a week, called on 46 numbers and shared the �12,097.18 National jackpot while also picking up the �96.39 house prize.

But before the dust could even settle on these monumental National wins, there was yet another success.

On Friday, a Buckingham Bingo Bradford member called on 53 numbers, meaning she won both the �455.56 Zone prize and the �28.80 house prize.

Mr Cahill concluded: "Three times in a row! We are definitely Yorkshire's luckiest club."
