National Bingo Game won by second Buckingham Bingo player
Time to revisit your favourite bingo clubIf you love the National Bingo Game, you might want to get down to your favourite bingo club as soon as possible.
On Friday night, a Buckingham Bingo member won the iconic competition and took home almost £30,000.
Well at the risk of triggering déjà vu, another Buckingham Bingo fan won the National Bingo Game the following evening and also walked away with just short of £30,000.
This time around, it was a man playing at the Manchester branch who scooped the jaw-dropping jackpot.
He won the national prize of £25,000 and the regional prize of £3,903.21 after calling on just 35 numbers.
It was an incredibly quick win, to be sure, but the Buckingham Bingo Old Trafford member still falls some way short of the record.
Online bingo win shocks veteran players
Earlier this month, an online bingo game was submitted to the Guinness Book of Records after a player marked off 15 numbers in just 23 calls.
Darryl Howe, a 24-year-old from Moreton-in-Marsh in Gloucestershire, reportedly defied odds of 93 billion to one to finish his ticket.
What may surprise veteran players still further is that Darryl won the £18,000 jackpot on his first online bingo game.
Indeed, it quickly transpired that he had only joined the portal 40 minutes earlier.
A spokeswoman for the bingo site said: "None of our staff or customers with vast bingo-playing experience have ever seen a game unfold as quickly as this one. We can't find examples of a quicker 90-ball game but are interested in hearing from anyone who knows more."
