The Buckingham Bingo club in Bradford recently threw a special party for one of its regular members, Anne Webster.

Anne, who turned 102 on April 28, celebrated her birthday courtesy of the Buckingham Bingo club.

Anne has been a member of the luxury Bridge Street Buckingham Bingo club since it first opened in 2002, and has played bingo for most of her life.

The Buckingham Bingo club decided to help Anne celebrate her birthday in style, providing her with a chauffeur-driven limousine to and from the club, free bingo, flowers, and a bingo ticket-shaped cake in honour of her favourite pastime.

Buckingham Bingo regular

“I’ve always enjoyed playing bingo and have made many friends over the years. When Buckingham Bingo offered to throw me a birthday party I was delighted that I would be able to celebrate and play my favourite game at the same time,” says Anne.

Anne is a Buckingham Bingo regular, attending five afternoons a week with one of her four children, Keith Webster. Her biggest bingo win saw Anne treat herself to a holiday in Scotland. She has made countless friends with other members and staff, and Anne is one of the clubs most popular members.

Manager of Buckingham Bingo in Bradford, Robert Cahill, says: “Anne is a great character and a true patron of the club so we wanted to do something special to mark her big day.

“We sometimes crack open the bubbly on these occasions but Anne will be staying well clear as she has never drunk a drop of alcohol in her life.”
