Buckingham Bingo Preston regular wins £50k Bucky Bullseye
Bullseye for Buckingham Bingo PrestonThe Bucky Bullseye has been won in our Preston bingo club.
A retired gentleman, who plays there alongside his wife every Tuesday, scooped the £50,000 jackpot and an additional £500 after calling on exactly 50 numbers.
He becomes the fifth Buckingham Bingo Preston winner to take home the top prize.
Moreover, under the rules of the Bucky Bullseye, the other 162 players in the club were each given a generous £50 bingo bonus of their own.
The 78-year-old winner already has plenty of ideas about what he wants to do with this incredible bingo payout.
As well as treating his family, he is thinking about going on an extra special holiday and making a donation to the charities with which he is involved.
Luckiest bingo club in the north west
Buckingham Bingo players have long known that there is something special in the air at the Tithebarn Street bingo club.
Last summer, two gamers picked up the Bucky Bullseye within days of each other.
A 64-year-old Leyland lady scooped the £50,000 jackpot on Tuesday, August 4th 2009 and that was followed by a 69-year-old player on Friday, August 14th.
Incredibly, this came in the very same month as a couple of National Bingo Game winners.
Just a day after a Buckingham Bingo Preston member received a £12,607.99 payout, another player was given the astonishing sum of £28,940.14.
Speaking at the time, Buckingham Bingo Preston assistant manager Sandra Adams said: “That’s now a total of £175.367.02 won here in the last three weeks.
“We think we are the luckiest club in the north west.”
