Buckingham Bingo Bradford hosts National Bingo Game winner
Long-time bingo player gets her rewardThe National Bingo Game has made another long-time bingo fan very happy indeed.
On the evening of Friday, January 29th 2010, a lady at Buckingham Bingo Bradford decided to have a flutter on the competition, which is open to players from all over the UK.
It was by no means her first stab at winning a big-money bingo competition - she has been visiting the Bradford bingo club since it opened all the way back in 2002.
But this particular game was more memorable than most after she scooped no fewer than three huge payouts from a single lucky ticket.
To be precise, she took home a £25,000 national jackpot, a £4,200.15 regional prize and a £155.19 club prize – making a grand total of almost £30,000.
Buckingham Bingo Bradford and the National Bingo Game
Buckingham Bingo Bradford has proved to be a real hotbed for devotees of the National Bingo Game.
In December 2009, manager Robert Cahill declared it "Yorkshire's luckiest club" after a remarkable trio of wins in as many days.
A monumental £25,000 National jackpot on Wednesday, December 9th 2009 was swiftly followed by bingo payouts of £12,000 and £500 over the next two days.
However, it should be pointed out that you don't have to live in Yorkshire to enjoy a spot of good fortune.
Last month, a 25-year-old from Bootle and a 38-year-old woman from Crosby each won £25,000 on the celebrated Bucky Bullseye.
And 2009 also saw the remarkable story of a 25-year old bingo novice from Manchester who won more than £29,000 in her very first National Bingo Game session.
